Mary Lysecki is the daughter of Gerald and Dorothy Dunn, granddaughter of John and Florence Pond, Vernon and Annie Dunn, wife of Burton Lysecki, mother of Jake, Ruth, Nik Lysecki and Clara Birnie, grandmother to Felix, Jack and Stella. She is an ordained Anglican priest. She has served in the Diocese of Rupert’s Land, in the parishes of St. Paul, Fort Garry, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, St. Peter’s, Winnipeg, and St. Mary Magdalene. She has been co-chair of Sisters in Spirit, Winnipeg Chapter, chair of the board of directors for the North Point Douglas Women’s Centre, and served on the Anglican Church of Canada’s Healing Fund.
